Cyta is the primary telecommunications operator
in Cyprus, providing advanced telecommunication solutions,
covering voice and data communications and value-added services. Cytaglobal, Cyta’s
International Wholesale Division, developed an extensive submarine fibre optic
cable network, providing wholesale products and services on a global basis. Cytaglobal
also operates an extensive satellite network with three Teleports providing
connectivity with major satellite systems. Services
offered range from satellite television on a permanent and occasional basis to
international telephony, monitoring services, data and internet connectivity.
The Teleports also offer VSAT services, hosting services to third parties and
serve as a video head-end for Cyta’s IPTV offering in the Cyprus market. Iris, Cyta’s subsidiary, also provides specialized satellite services,
including turnaround services for audio, video and data.
