CABSAT 2026 moves to Dubai Exhibition Centre

Among the new additions for 2026 is the Micro Short Drama Clinic, a dedicated two-day programme created in collaboration with Whitebee Media.

CABSAT sets the stage for 2026 with a clear statement of intent. Its next chapter includes a new venue, meaning a refreshed floor plan, and the sense of a sharper focus on next-generation production signals a show that continues to evolve with the broadcast and satellite industry.

This year marks CABSAT’s move to the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. Purpose-built for large-scale international exhibitions, DEC offers modern infrastructure, improved visitor flow, and seamless connectivity to hotels, dining, and fuss-free public transport via the Dubai Metro. Set within Expo City’s innovation-led district, the venue provides a strong backdrop for an industry shaped by technology, collaboration, and rapid change.

A major highlight is the return of virtual production, a specialised exhibition area showcasing the complete ecosystem of real-time production technology. Centred around a fully operational virtual production set, the zone unites leading software and hardware providers delivering end-to-end solutions. Visitors can experience virtual production workflows while engaging directly with the international brands powering the future of broadcast and content creation.

Content remains at the heart of the show through the long-running Content Congress, a cornerstone of CABSAT’s programme. Known for its influential speakers and timely debate, the Congress tackles the industry’s most pressing topics, from digital transformation and immersive content to cloud adoption, AI integration, and interactive sports broadcasting. The agenda attracts senior decision-makers, creatives, and technologists seeking insight that translates into real-world strategy.

New features for 2026 include the Micro Short Drama Clinic, a focused two-day programme developed with Whitebee Media. Designed for Arabic audiences, it explores vertical, bite-sized storytelling through practical sessions led by practitioners behind successful micro-drama projects.

The exhibitor line-up continues to expand, welcoming new international names such as Nordlys from Denmark, Shotoku from the UK, Coblat from the USA, and Workflowlabs from India.

CABSAT will be held from June 2–4 , 2026, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre. The event runs from 10AM to 5PM on Days 1 and 2, and from 10AM to 4PM on Day 3. More information and registration details are available at www.cabsat.com
