Grass Valley brings latest broadcast technologies to CABSAT 2026

Grass Valley will showcase its latest broadcast and media-production technologies at CABSAT 2026, highlighting how hardware and software can work together across the content production and delivery chain.

The company is scheduled to exhibit at CABSAT from May 4–6 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, where it will demonstrate technologies spanning live production, content management, playout and media delivery.

According to Grass Valley’s latest event messaging, the company will focus on a more connected media operation, bringing together hardware and software across workflows from content capture and live production through to content management, playout and delivery. The company is expected to demonstrate its LDX 180 and LDX 110 camera systems, along with its newer AVORA All-in-One Live Production Solution.

The CABSAT showcase will also feature Grass Valley’s Maverik X production platform, Replay, Event Producer and Playout X, alongside Framelight X, Altair, Densité and ACE technologies. The planned exhibition is designed to illustrate how broadcasters and media organisations can combine dedicated hardware with software-defined capabilities as they modernise their production environments.

AVORA is among the newer additions to Grass Valley’s portfolio. The all-in-one live production solution forms part of the company’s wider effort to provide production teams with integrated tools for live content creation. Its inclusion at CABSAT follows Grass Valley’s broader push to bring production control, applications and infrastructure together within a unified operating environment.

The company has also been advancing its AMPP Media Operating System and wider GV Media Universe, which combines hardware capabilities with software-defined workflows. Grass Valley describes the approach as an ecosystem designed to provide scalable and flexible production environments, including workflows spanning on-premises, cloud and hybrid deployments.

The company’s CABSAT presence comes shortly after its showcase at IBC2026, where Grass Valley demonstrated its Unified Media Operations approach. At IBC, the company brought together dedicated hardware, software-based applications, infrastructure and partner technologies, with its Dynamic Media Facility strategy supporting the integration of production environments.

At CABSAT, Grass Valley’s focus on connecting different stages of the media workflow is particularly relevant as broadcasters and content producers across the Middle East continue to examine cloud, IP and software-defined production models. The 2026 CABSAT programme itself places significant emphasis on media technology trends, cloud and IP workflows, including software-defined and remote production environments.

The 2026 edition will mark CABSAT’s first year at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai. The event will run from May 4–6, with the exhibition open from 10am to 5pm on May 4 and 5 and until 4pm on May 6. Grass Valley is listed among the leading exhibitors for the event.
